Ambassador of Algeria to Vietnam pays courtesy call on Prof. Dr. Tạ Ngọc Tấn, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council of the CPV

On September 27, 2024, H.E. Mr. Sofiane Chaib paid a courtesy call on Prof. Dr. Tạ Ngọc Tấn, former member of the Central Committee of the Party of Vietnam, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council of the Party of Vietnam to discuss his upcoming visit to Algeria on October 2-4, 2024.

The Central Theoretical Council of the Party of Vietnam is an advisory body established by the Politburo and the Central Committee of the Party of Vietnam, tasked with conducting studies and research on practical theoretical issues, aiming to build practical foundations and meet the needs of the Party in serving the planning work of the Party's orientations and policies as well as serving the regular leadership work of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Central Committee of the Party.

The upcoming policy of the Council focuses on researching the actual development situation of countries around the world to consider the general direction of the world development process, and consider studying and learning from the experiences of countries around the world to serve Vietnam's political planning. During this upcoming visit to Algeria, the Theoretical Council wishes to learn from the experience and contribute to promoting relations between the two countries: Algeria is a very close brother country with close relations with Vietnam. The two countries share the same fate, are both French colonies and are leading the same struggle for national independence and the unification of the country. The process of obtaining independence of each country is taking place at the same time: Vietnam in 1945, Algeria in 1961.

In addition to the content of the exchanges on the economy, society and political relations with the Algerian state agencies, the delegation wishes to learn from the experiences on maintaining, protecting and promoting and preserving the tangible and intangible cultural values ​​of Algeria.

Algeria is a country with a long history and many periods of brilliant development. The delegation wants to learn the experiences in maintaining, developing, protecting and promoting the values ​​of historical relics left by the previous generation so that they can be applied under the specific historical conditions of Vietnam.
