Minister Laid Rebiga's visit to the stele commemorating the deceased Algerian and Vietnamese journalists in Hanoi
The Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Mr. Laid Rebiga stands at the eternal memorial to commemorate the martyrdom of 15 Algerian and Vietnamese journalists in Hanoi, on March 8, 1974, after the crash of the plane that accompanied Algerian President Houari Boumediene on an official visit to Vietnam.
Local authorities, the President of the National Association of Vietnamese Veterans, and the Algerian Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. Sofiane Chaib were present at the visit.
Last week, President Tebboune dispatched Minister Laid Rebiga to Vietnam to attend the funeral of the Secretary General of the CPV, Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, who breathed his last on July 19.
