Repatriation of Algerians stranded abroad: the MAE declines a new program spread over 10 days

The Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), Abdelaziz Benali Cherif, reported on a new repatriation program for Algerians stranded abroad, through operations which will run until the 16th of this month.


However, Benali Cherif underlines that “this program is likely to undergo modifications due to the administrative permits, the licenses of the aviation administrations of different countries and the procedures of opening and closing of the airspace associated with the epidemic of the Coronavirus pandemic by certain countries whose citizens will be evacuated from their airports ”. -A flight from Washington DC on August 6 to repatriate citizens stranded in the United States of America to Algiers airport.
-A flight from Johannesburg (South Africa) on August 7 passing through Luanda (Angola), Libreville (Gabon) and Abidjan (Ivory Coast) to Algiers airport.
-A flight from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) on August 7 to Oran airport.
-A flight from Istanbul (Turkey) on August 7 to Algiers airport.
-A flight from Doha (Qatar) on August 8 to Algiers airport.
-A flight from Kuwait on August 8 to Algiers airport.
-A flight from Paris (France) to Algiers airport on August 8.
-A flight from Khartoum (Sudan) to Algiers airport on August 8.
-A flight from Istanbul (Turkey) on August 8 to Algiers airport.
-A flight from Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) on August 9 to Algiers airport.
-A flight from Paris (France) on August 9 to Algiers airport.
-A flight from London (UK) to Algiers airport on August 9.
-A flight from Istanbul (Turkey) to Constantine Airport on August 9 to repatriate citizens stranded in Turkey and other countries, in addition to citizens stranded in Syria and Lebanon who will be gathered at the international airport from Beirut where this flight will land to collect them.
-A flight from Montreal (Canada) to Algiers airport on August 10.
-A flight from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Algiers airport on August 10.
-A flight from Nouakchott (Mauritania) via Dakar (Senegal) to El-Oued airport on August 10.
-A flight from Doha (Qatar) to Annaba airport on August 11, devoted to the repatriation of 84 Algerian citizens stranded in Iraq, in addition to other citizens stranded in other countries.
-A flight from Istanbul (Turkey) to Oran airport on August 13.
-A flight from Washington DC (USA) to Oran Airport on August 13.
