Working visit of the Ambassador of Algeria to the headquarters of the Journal du Peuple (Nhan Dan)

During his tenure in Vietnam, Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine hopes to receive assistance and coordination from Nhan Dan newspaper in spreading friendship activities, building understanding... between Algeria and Vietnam.

On the afternoon of March 22, at the headquarters of Nhan Dan newspaper, Comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party's Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Party's Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association received Mr. Abdelhamid Boubazine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria to Vietnam.

Briefly introducing the 72-year history of Nhan Dan newspaper, Mr. Le Quoc Minh said that along with all types of newspapers, Nhan Dan newspaper is one of the most important news agencies in the Vietnamese newspaper system. In addition to the Vietnamese version, the Nhan Dan newspaper also has foreign language versions: English, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish.

Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh added that most of today's young readers enjoy using technology, and the results of the analysis show that up to 70% of electronic Nhan Dan readers are under the age of 35. . Seizing this trend, Nhan Dan Newspaper has developed a digital transformation strategy to become one of Vietnam's top six multimedia news agencies.

During the meeting, Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine expressed his honor to visit Nhan Dan newspaper and listen to the presentations on the development history as well as the digital transformation strategy of the newspaper by the editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh .

On this occasion, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh and Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine reviewed the long history of the traditional good friendship between the two countries.

In November 1962, Vietnam opened an embassy in Algeria, Vietnam's first diplomatic mission in Africa. In April 1968, Algeria opened an embassy in Hanoi. The relationship between Vietnam and Algeria continues to strengthen and develop...

Over the past 60 years, the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Algeria has been constantly preserved and cultivated, achieving many positive results in many fields.

Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine said that the Governments and peoples of the two countries have always actively supported each other in previous struggles for national liberation and national independence, as well as in the construction and development of the country today.
