Working visit of the delegation of the Embassy of Algeria in Vietnam to the province of Dien Bien

On September 28, 2022, the delegation of the Embassy of Algeria led by Mr. Abdelhamid Bɵubazine - Ambassador of Algeria to Vietnam had a working visit to the province of Dien Bien. Participating in the meeting from Dien Bien province side were Mr. Lo Van Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of a number of provincial departments.

During the meeting, Comrade Lo Van Tien - Vice President of the Provincial People's Committee gave an overview on the socio-economic situation of Dien Bien province. Although affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the province has taken many synchronous measures to achieve the dual objectives of preventing, combating and controlling the epidemic, while developing the socio-economic, political, security situation and national defense. Thus, many programs and projects have been invested by investors and companies in the province, opening up the good opportunities for socio-economic development in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Abdelhamid Bɵubazine said he will continue to encourage and support Algerian companies to invest in Vietnam in general and Dien Bien province in particular.

On this occasion, Mr. Lo Van Tien, on behalf of the province of Dien Bien, presented the delegation with gifts and specialties from the North-West region. At the same time, the province of Dien Bien always wishes to expand and improve the quality of international cooperation, promoting the establishment of friendly relations between the province of Dien Bien and an Algerian province with similar conditions.
