Minister of Construction receives the Ambassador of Algeria

On the afternoon of April 23, at the Ministry of Construction, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi received Mr. Abdelhamid Boubazine, Algerian Ambassador to Vietnam, within the framework of the implementation of cooperation agreements according to the Trial -Minutes of the 12th session of the Vietnam-Algeria Joint Commission.

During the meeting, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi congratulated Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine for successfully completing his term in Vietnam, especially for making a positive and important contribution to the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction in the successful organization of the 12th session of the Vietnam-Algeria Joint Commission, helping to promote bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

At the same time, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi also congratulated Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine for honorably receiving the “For Peace and Friendship Among Nations” medal awarded by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations.

This is a recognition of the positive contributions of Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine in promoting friendly cooperative relations and strengthening solidarity between the Vietnamese and Algerian people, through activities such as the organization of the 60th anniversary the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Algeria (10/28/1962-10/28/2022), the exhibition of photos on relations between the two countries; the successful promotion of twinning between the province of Dien Bien in Vietnam and the province of Batna in Algeria; as well as artistic activities such as directing and performing the play "The Man with the Rubber Slippers", a very famous work about Uncle Ho by the famous playwright Kateb Yacine.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi expressed his thanks to Mr. Abdelhamid Boubazine for his support to strengthen the cooperative relations between the Ministry of Construction and Algerian partners, as well as to successfully organize the 12th session of the Vietnam Joint Commission -Algeria.

During the meeting, Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine thanked Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi and the Ministry of Construction for taking the time to welcome him, as well as for the great support of the Ministry of Construction during the process of his work in Vietnam.

During the 12th session of the Vietnam-Algeria Joint Committee, the two countries achieved many successes after nearly 6 years of postponement. Vietnam-Algeria relations are also strengthened by the organization of a Business Council; as well as 14 cooperation projects, of which 3 projects are about to be signed; as well as the completion of the signing of the Twinning Agreement between the provinces of Batna and Dien Bien, marking a new stage of development in popular diplomacy between the two provinces in particular and in the relationship between the two countries in general .

Mr. Abdelhamid Boubazine expressed hope that, thanks to the 12th meeting of the Vietnam-Algeria Joint Committee, the two countries will soon be able to establish a supervision committee to ensure the process of signing projects. He also expressed confidence that the cooperative relations between Vietnam and Algeria will achieve desirable results, as the two countries have maintained and maintained cooperation for many years.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi expressed hope that after the end of his mandate, whatever his position, Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine will continue to support the Ministry of Construction as well as other Vietnamese ministries, departments and agencies and companies and contribute to spreading the feeling of the Vietnamese people reserves to the Algerian people. At the same time, the Minister hopes that the ambassador will always maintain good feelings towards the country and the Vietnamese people.
